1. (a) There is a Postmortem Examiners Advisory Committee.

2. (b) The Committee consists of the following members:

   1. (1) The Baltimore City Commissioner of Health;
   2. (2) The head of the Pathology Department of the University of Maryland School of Medicine;
   3. (3) The head of the Pathology Department of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine;
   4. (4) The Secretary of State Police;
   5. (5) A representative of the Department, chosen by the Secretary; and
   6. (6) Any other individual appointed by the Secretary, in consultation with the Office.
3. (c) From among the Committee members, the Secretary shall appoint a chair.

4. (d) The Committee shall advise the Secretary and the Office on:

   1. (1) The implementation of this subtitle; and
   2. (2) Carrying out the Office's duties.
