1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

2. (b) “Distribute” includes:

   1. (1) Offering for sale;
   2. (2) Selling;
   3. (3) Bartering; and
   4. (4) Giving away.
3. (c) “Exotic bird” means a bird that is not native to this State.
4. (d) “Permit” means a permit issued by the Secretary to import, distribute, and breed exotic birds.
