Refusal to Renew Certificate

  1. (a) The Commissioner may refuse to renew a certificate of authority for any reason for which the Commissioner may:

    1. (1) Refuse to issue an original certificate; or
    2. (2) Suspend or revoke an existing certificate.
  2. (b) If the Commissioner refuses to renew a certificate of authority, the applicant has the same administrative and legal remedies as those provided under this subtitle for the suspension or revocation of a certificate of authority.
