1. (a) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Candidate” has the meaning stated in § 1-101 of the Election Law Article, but only as it applies to a candidate seeking election as a local official.
3. (c) “Contribution” has the meaning stated in § 1-101 of the Election Law Article.
4. (d) “Lobbyist” means a person required to register under § 2-295 of the Prince George's County Code or § 19A-21 of the Montgomery County Code.

5. (e) “Local official” means:

   1. (1) a member of the County Council of Prince George's County or the County Executive of Prince George's County; or
   2. (2) a member of the County Council of Montgomery County or the County Executive of Montgomery County.
6. (f) “Political committee” has the meanings stated in § 1-101 of the Election Law Article.
