1. (a) A licensee shall pay a customer, in United States currency, the face amount of the payment instrument received less the fee charged.

2. (b)

   1. (1) A licensee may not provide check cashing services to a customer unless the customer presents a form of customarily acceptable identification.

   2. (2) Acceptable forms of identification include:

      1. (i) A valid driver's license with photograph issued by a state government;
      2. (ii) A valid identity card with photograph issued by a state government;
      3. (iii) A valid United States passport or alien registration card; and
      4. (iv) A valid uniformed services identification card.
