1. (a) Any marriage performed in this State that is prohibited by this section is void.

2. (b)

   1. (1) An individual may not marry the individual's:

      1. (i) grandparent;
      2. (ii) parent;
      3. (iii) child;
      4. (iv) sibling; or
      5. (v) grandchild.
   2. (2) An individual who violates any provision of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine of $1,500.

3. (c)

   1. (1) An individual may not marry the individual's:

      1. (i) grandparent's spouse;
      2. (ii) spouse's grandparent;
      3. (iii) parent's sibling;
      4. (iv) stepparent;
      5. (v) spouse's parent;
      6. (vi) spouse's child;
      7. (vii) child's spouse;
      8. (viii) grandchild's spouse;
      9. (ix) spouse's grandchild; or
      10. (x) sibling's child.
   2. (2) An individual who violates any provision of this subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine of $500.
