1. (a) In Part VII of this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

2. (b) “Shared facility” means a water system or sewerage system that serves:

   1. (1) More than 1 lot;
   2. (2) More than 1 single family residence or its equivalent; or
   3. (3) A series of water systems or sewerage systems that each serve 1 lot.
3. (c) “Shared facility area” means the territory served by a shared facility.
