Definitions

  1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
  2. (b) “Household” means any single or multiple residence, hotel, bunkhouse, ranger station, crew quarters, or camping or picnic ground.
  3. (c)

    1. (1) “Household hazardous waste” means any waste material, including garbage or trash, derived from a household that would be listed as hazardous waste under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act but for the fact that the waste is derived from a household.
    2. (2) “Household hazardous waste” may include:

      1. (i) Agricultural chemicals;
      2. (ii) Cleaning agents and solvents;
      3. (iii) Motor oils;
      4. (iv) Paint;
      5. (v) Pesticides; and
      6. (vi) Preservatives.
