1. (a) In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Advertisement” means a communication that is intended to influence a person to enter into an obligation or sign a contract for services.
3. (c) “Child care center” has the meaning stated in § 9.5-401 of this title.
4. (d) “Family child care home” has the meaning stated in § 9.5-301 of this title.
5. (e) “Large family child care home” has the meaning stated in § 9.5-301 of this title.
6. (f) “License” means a license issued by the Department to operate a child care center.
7. (g) “Registration” means a registration issued by the Department to a family child care home or a large family child care home.
