1. (a) The three members of the board from the State are as follows:

   1. (1) one member appointed by the Director of the Maryland Energy Administration, with the approval of the Governor;
   2. (2) one member of the House of Delegates, appointed by the Speaker of the House; and
   3. (3) one member of the Senate of Maryland, appointed by the President of the Senate.

2. (b)

   1. (1) The term of the member appointed under subsection (a)(1) of this section expires at the end of the term of the appointing Governor.
   2. (2) The term of a member appointed under subsection (a)(2) or (3) of this section expires at the end of the term of that General Assembly.
