1. (a) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated.

2. (b) “Climate technology” includes:

   1. (1) solar energy;
   2. (2) wind energy;
   3. (3) energy storage devices;
   4. (4) grid modernization;
   5. (5) carbon capture utilization and storage; and

   6. (6) any other technology defined by the Center that:

      1. (i) reduces greenhouse gas emissions;
      2. (ii) mitigates the impacts of climate change; or
      3. (iii) provides a negative emission benefit in the electric, oil, or gas sector.
3. (c) “Fund” means the Climate Technology Founder's Fund.
4. (d) “Qualified project” means a project related to climate technology.
