1. (a) In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.

   1. (1) “Central services” means the performance of central management or administrative functions.

   2. (2) “Central services” includes:

      1. (i) general management;
      2. (ii) accounting;
      3. (iii) computer tabulating;
      4. (iv) data processing;
      5. (v) purchasing;
      6. (vi) transportation or shipping;
      7. (vii) advertising;
      8. (viii) legal services;
      9. (ix) financial services; and
      10. (x) research and development.
3. (c) “Company headquarters” means a facility where the majority of a business entity's financial, personnel, legal, and planning functions are handled on a regional or national basis.
4. (d) “Full-time position” means a position requiring an employee to work at least 840 hours during at least 24 weeks in a 6-month period.
5. (e) “Qualified employee” means an employee filling a qualified position.
