1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Fund” means the Industry 4.0 Technology Grant Fund.

3. (c)

   1. (1) “Industry 4.0 technology” means smart hardware and software manufacturing technologies.

   2. (2) “Industry 4.0 technology” includes:

      1. (i) advanced sensor integration;
      2. (ii) embedded software system applications;
      3. (iii) robotics and autonomous equipment that collect data;
      4. (iv) enterprise resource planning (ERP) and data analytics software;
      5. (v) cloud computing and cybersecurity solutions;
      6. (vi) artificial intelligence (AI) for continuous improvement of efficiency and productivity; and
      7. (vii) infrastructure required to implement a qualifying technology.
4. (d) “Program” means the Industry 4.0 Technology Grant Program.
5. (e) “Program administrator” means the entity that has authority to administer the Program.
6. (f) “SME manufacturer” means a small or medium-sized enterprise manufacturer.
