1. (a) Before trial, a court exercising criminal jurisdiction in a case involving a child may order the child to undergo blood lead level testing.

2. (b) A copy of the results of a test performed under subsection (a) of this section shall be provided to:

   1. (1) the child;
   2. (2) the child's parent or guardian;
   3. (3) the child's counsel; and
   4. (4) the State's Attorney.
