1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.

2. (b) The following words have the meanings stated in § 10-401 of this title:

   1. (1) Aggrieved person;
   2. (2) Aural transfer;
   3. (3) Communications common carrier;
   4. (4) Contents;
   5. (5) Electronic communication;
   6. (6) Electronic communication service;
   7. (7) Electronic communications system;
   8. (8) Electronic, mechanical, or other device;
   9. (9) Electronic storage;
   10. (10) Intercept;
   11. (11) Investigative or law enforcement officer;
   12. (12) Judge of competent jurisdiction;
   13. (13) Oral communication;
   14. (14) Person;
   15. (15) Readily accessible to the general public;
   16. (16) User; and
   17. (17) Wire communication.
3. (c) “Remote computing service” means the provision to the public of computer storage or processing services by means of an electronic communications system.
