1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Agreement” means the Interstate Agreement on Detainers, which is set forth in §§ 8-402 through 8-411 of this subtitle.
3. (c) “Appropriate court” means, with reference to the courts of this State, a circuit court of a county or the District Court.
4. (d) “Correctional institution” means, with reference to the correctional institutions of this State, any State or local correctional facility.
