Notice to sentencing judge of parole release hearing

(a) If an incarcerated individual is sentenced to the Division of Correction and, at the time of sentencing, the sentencing judge makes a written request for notification, the Commission shall:
- (1) at least 90 days before the parole release hearing, notify the sentencing judge in writing that a parole release hearing is scheduled for the incarcerated individual; and
- (2) promptly notify the sentencing judge of the Commission's final decision regarding parole for the incarcerated individual.
- (b) The Commission shall make any recommendation made by the sentencing judge at the time of sentencing available for review by the incarcerated individual or the incarcerated individual's representative under § 7-303(b) of this title.
