1. (a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.
2. (b) “Purchaser” means a person who has contracted to acquire a vacation club membership.

3. (c)

   1. (1) “Sales agent” means a person who has contracted to sell a vacation club membership.
   2. (2) “Sales agent” includes the developer of a vacation club membership plan.
4. (d) “Vacation accommodation” means a place of lodging and related facilities over which the user does not have permanent exclusive control.

5. (e)

   1. (1) “Vacation club membership” means an interest in a vacation club membership plan that entitles the purchaser to the use or occupancy of a vacation accommodation on a recurring basis, whether or not the exercise of the right to use or occupy depends on the availability of a vacation accommodation.
   2. (2) “Vacation club membership” includes an interest in a club that provides or arranges for the use or occupancy of campgrounds, condominiums, or other vacation accommodations.
   3. (3) “Vacation club membership” does not include a time-share defined under Title 11A of the Real Property Article.
6. (f) “Vacation club membership plan” means a plan in which the purchaser has the right to the use or occupancy of any number of vacation accommodations on a recurring basis.
