Md. Code Ann., Bus. Occ. & Prof. § 7-204 – Meetings, compensation, and staff

(a) A majority of the authorized membership of the Board is a quorum.
(b)
1. (1) The Board shall meet at least twice a year, at the times and places that the Board determines.
2. (2) The Board may hold special meetings as provided in its bylaws, but the Board may not hold more than 1 meeting in a calendar month.
(c) A member of the Board:
1. (1) may not receive compensation; but
2. (2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations,¹ as provided in the State budget.
(d) The Board may employ a staff in accordance with the State budget.
