1. (a) The Department shall approve training programs that an individual may complete to satisfy the domestic violence awareness training requirements of this title.

2. (b) A training program approved under subsection (a) of this section must:

   1. (1) be offered in person and virtually;

   2. (2) include guidance on:

      1. (i) recognizing the signs of domestic violence;
      2. (ii) strategies to navigate conversations with clients who may be victims of domestic violence;
      3. (iii) how to listen to and communicate with victims of domestic violence; and
      4. (iv) connecting clients with resources and support groups for victims of domestic violence; and
   3. (3) have a duration of at least 1 hour.
