Registration to provide services to a cannabis licensee

(a) The following businesses shall register with the Administration in order to provide services to a cannabis licensee:
- (1) a transporter;
- (2) a security guard agency;
- (3) a waste disposal company;
- (4) a cannabis nursery; and
- (5) any other type of cannabis business that is authorized by the Administration to provide plant or product-touching services to cannabis licensees.
(b) The Administration shall adopt regulations that establish:
- (1) the standards and requirements to be met by an entity to obtain a registration under this subtitle; and
- (2) the basis and processes for approval, denial, revocation, and suspension of the cannabis registration.
- (c) A registration to operate a transporter, security guard agency, or waste disposal company issued by the Natalie M. LaPrade Medical Cannabis Commission on or before July 1, 2023, shall be valid under this title and authorize a transporter, security guard agency, or waste disposal company to handle medical and adult-use cannabis and cannabis products.
