Promoter's permit

- (a) There is a promoter's permit.
(b)
- (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the Board may issue the permit for use by a for-profit organization that publicizes, sells tickets for, organizes, operates, produces, or stages an event where alcoholic beverages are sold or served.
- (2) The permit holder may not hold an alcoholic beverages license under this article.
- (c) The permit authorizes the permit holder to sell beer, wine, and liquor at an event.
- (d) The Board may adopt regulations establishing the requirements for conducting an event described in subsection (b) of this section, including health and safety standards to be met by a permit holder.
(e) The permit fee is:
- (1) $50, if the promoter expects that fewer than 500 individuals will attend;
- (2) $250, if the promoter expects that from 500 to 1,000 individuals will attend;
- (3) $600, if the promoter expects that from 1,001 to 3,000 individuals will attend; and
- (4) $1,000, if the promoter expects that more than 3,000 individuals will attend.
