The Massachusetts Preservation Projects Fund provides matching funds and emergency funds for the preservation of historic properties, landscapes and sites listed or eligible to be listed in the State Register ofHistoric Places. The Massachusetts Historical Commission will award grantmatchingfunds to those projects that best meet the selection criteria and can accomplish the scope of work within the time schedule for project completion. The Secretary is authorized to distribute emergency funds.
