- (1) Notice. The time and place of the audits in a municipality where one or more precincts selected to be audited are located shall be publicly announced no less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the audit. The local election official shall notify the Secretary of the time and place of the audit no less than 24 hours prior to the commencement of the audit.
