Responsibility of Staff

- (1) Confidentiality It shall be the responsibility of the Inspector General and his staff to ensure proper confidentiality of information concerning matters under investigation, audit or review by the Office pursuant to the requirements of M.G.L. c. 12A.
- (2) Conduct Employees shallnot engage in any conduct which reflects unfavorably upon the Office of Inspector General. They shall perform their official duties at all times with complete fairness and impartiality. Employees are prohibited from engaging in any conduct which is intended to secure private gain, give preferentialtreatment to any person or prevent any person from securing benefits to which he is entitled. Employees are further prohibited from engaging in any conduct which creates or tends to create the impression that they will use their office for these purposes.
- (3) PersonnelRegulations Allemployees of the Office shall abide by the provisions of the Personnel Regulations issued by the Inspector General.
