It is an unfair or deceptive act for a seller of a product purchased for personal, family, or household purposes to use any words or phrases which state or imply a limitation on the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, including phrases such as, as is, with all faults, and all sales final. However, a seller may adopt an all sales final return policy, if it clearly and conspicuously discloses that policy in its advertisements and in-store signs and includes in such disclosures the following or substantially similar language: All Sales Final Except for Defective or Non-conforming Goods.
