(1) Not less than 24 hours before a prisoner's release on medical parole, the Commissioner shall notify the following, in writing, of the prisoner's release date, and the terms and conditions of the scheduled release:
- (a) the district attorney for the jurisdiction where the offense resulting in the prisoner being committed to the correctional facility occurred;
- (b) the department of the state police;
- (c) the police department in the city or town in which the prisoner shall reside; and
- (d) if applicable under M.G.L. c. 258B, the victims or the victims’ family, through the Department's Office of Victim Services.
