Under provisions of M.G.L. c. 128A, § 5(h)(4), the Commission may provide economic assistance to any person, or family of a person, employed in the racing facility, the stable area, or backstretch area of the running horse licensee located inSuffolk County (Suffolk Downs) who is facing hardship due to illness or unforeseen tragedy.
