Staffing Requirements

- (A) Minimum Staffing Requirements. A psychiatric day treatment program must provide an adequate number of qualified personnel to fulfill the program’s objective.
- (B) Composition of the Treatment Team. The treatment team must contain multidisciplinary staff available as appropriate for the needs of the participants. The treatment team must comprise mental health professionals who meet the requirements set forth under 105 CMR 140.530(C): Personal Qualifications or expressive therapy or allied health. The treatment team may also include other related mental health professionals necessary for the provision of intake, evaluation, and diagnostic and treatment services.
