Continuation of Services Pending an Appeal
Effective Jul 9, 2004MGL c. 6, § 192Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- (1) The Commission shall notify an individual in writing at least 15 days before taking any action to suspend, reduce or terminate services.
- (2) The notice shall be dated and shall include a brief statement informing the individual of the reasons for the action to be taken. The notice shall also inform the individualof the procedures for challenging the proposed action.
- (3) In order to assure continuation of services, the individual must file an appeal request within ten days of receiving the notice that services will be suspended, reduced, or terminated.
