Water Quality Maintenance

(1) Clarity and cleanliness of the water in a swimming, wading or special purpose pool shall be maintained by a continuous recirculationofthe water through an appropriate filtration system approved by the Board of Health. The following minimum turnover rates shall be maintained:
- (a) swimming pools-once every eight hours,
- (b) wading pools-once every four hours,
- (c) special purpose pools-once every ½ hour.
- (2) The operator of a special purpose pool shall cause the pool to be drained, cleaned, and refilled a minimum of once every 14 days.
