Approval of Training Programs by Nonaccredited Training Providers

- (A) Each training program offered by a nonaccredited training provider must be individually approved by the Department. Nonaccredited training providers may provide only continuing education programs.
- (B) Any nonaccredited training provider seeking training program approval shall submit a complete application on a form provided by the Department, to the Department or the appropriate Regional EMS Council(s), as an agent of the Department, in compliance with Department administrative requirements.
- (C) Separate program approval is required for each offering of continuing education training program, even if the same training program was previously approved and/or offered. Blanket approval may be obtained for multiple offerings of the same training program in a single recertification year.
- (D) Applicants denied approval may re-apply for approval, but not more than once in the 12 months following denial.
- (E) Any publications or advertisements concerning the program shall accurately reflect the education and training being offered.
(F) Prior to receipt of Department approval for a training program pursuant to 105 CMR 170.960(A), no nonaccredited training provider shall:
- (1) Advertise such a training program as approved by the Department;
- (2) Accept applications from prospective students; or
- (3) Conduct any classes for such a training program.
