Temporary Licensing of Radiologic Technologists

(A) Minimum Licensure Application Requirements. An individual who does not meet the licensure requirements specified in 105 CMR 125.005, may apply for a temporary license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts for a period not to exceed one year, provided that:
- (1) the individual is 18 years of age or older; and
(2) the individual has either:
- (a) successfully completed all requirements of a JRCERT/JRCNMT accredited or Department-approved equivalent program prior to application for examination and has provided proof of completion of said requirements to the Department; or
- (b) has been determined to be eligible for examination by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or other certifying agency recognized by the Department.
- (B) Temporary licenses will not be issued for Limited Scope of Practice in Radiography.
