Written policy and procedure shall provide 24 hour emergency medical and dental care ability as outlined in a written plan. This written plan shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

1. (1) On site emergency first aid by health trained staff or health care personnel;
2. (2) Emergency evacuation of the inmate from within the facility;
3. (3) Use of an emergency medical vehicle;
4. (4) Use of one or more designated hospital emergency rooms or other appropriate health facilities;
5. (5) Emergency on-call physician and dental services when the emergency health facility is not located in a nearby community; and,
6. (6) Security procedures that provide for immediate transfer of inmates when appropriate.
