The responsibilities of the visiting area officer shall include, but are not limited to:

1. (1) Maintaining safety and security;
2. (2) Enforcing 103 CMR 483.00 and the institution's procedures on visiting;
3. (3) Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the visiting room;
4. (4) Appropriately processing and providing all required information to visitors;
5. (5) Supervising the inmates and visitors.
