1. A. Feral hogs may be trapped in cage or corral traps year-round by holders of a valid basic hunting license. Feral hogs may be captured by use of snares year-round by holders of a valid trapping license.
2. B. Cage or corral traps must have an opening in the top of the trap that is no smaller than 22 inches x 22 inches or 25 inches in diameter.

3. C. Feral hogs shall not be transported alive unless done so by a feral swine authorized transporter registered with the Board of Animal Health of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry, who has proof of said registration in his/her possession.

   1. 1. Feral hogs being transported in violation of this Rule will be confiscated and disposed of in accordance with LDWF policy.
