1. A. Amendments to these bylaws may be adopted at any regular meeting of the board by a majority vote of the board members present at the meeting. However, no such alteration or amendment shall be considered unless:

   1. 1. notice of the intention to amend the bylaws shall have been given in writing at a previous meeting of the board; and
   2. 2. a draft of the proposed amendment shall have been sent to each member of the board at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting at which the action of such alteration or amendment is to be taken.
2. B. In accordance with R.S. 56:578.2, the amendments adopted by the board shall be amended or promulgated by rule in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq.
