1. A. Certification as a SDBE is valid for one calendar year from the date of notification of certification by the LA DOTD. Thirty days prior to expiration of any SDBE certification, the department will notify the firm that recertification is required.
2. B. Businesses must be recertified annually. A SDBE recertification application to expedite yearly recertification must be submitted to the safety programs section.
3. C. The business owner must notify the department in writing of any changes in ownership or location of the business or telephone number during the certification calendar year, which begins on the date of certification.
