1. A. At least 30 days prior, local governmental subdivision shall provide written notice to the agency and each company permitted by the department in accordance with R.S. 48:2193,

   1. 1. of an initial hearing,
   2. 2. reading, or
   3. 3. consideration of an ordinance imposing a fee pursuant to R.S. 48:2204.
2. B. A local governmental subdivision shall also provide written notice within ten days of the passage of any ordinance imposing a fee.
3. C. A fee imposed pursuant to R.S. 48:2204 shall not go into effect until the first day of the month that is at least 30 days after passage of the ordinance imposing the fee.
