1. A. Companies shall provide the department with a report of the number of safety complaints against drivers including type and region by parish or city annually.

   1. 1. Companies shall provide the department with any and all complaints regardless of the type of complaint, if requested by the department.

2. B. In response to a specific complaint against any driver or company, the department is authorized to inspect any and all records held by the company that are deemed necessary by the department to investigate and resolve the complaint beyond the companies’ initial investigation.

   1. 1. Companies shall make available to the department all documents, persons, records, and digital information requested, to investigate any complaint reported to the department relative to the company or behavior of a driver.
   2. 2. Failure to comply with an investigation or provide all requested records may result in the company’s permit to operate within the state being suspended or revoked.
