LAC 70:IX.5021 – Records Retention

A. The department shall have the right to audit and inspect the records that the company is required to maintain, including:
1. 1. individual trip records for at least three years from the date each trip was provided;
2. 2. individual records of drivers for at least three years after the date which a driver's relationship with the company has ended;
3. 3. the company shall maintain records relevant to the enforcement of this requirement for a period of at least two years from the date that a rider's complaint is received by the company;
4. 4. complaints, specifically, but not limited to fares, discrimination, operating the vehicle while under the influence of a substance.
