1. A. Brands may be affixed by either hot- or cold-branding into or onto the hide of an animal.
2. B. Brands should be four to six inches in height for cattle and two to four inches in height for horses.
3. C. A design should be simple enough that it can be easily applied to an animal and can be easily read on the animal after application.
