1. A. Louisiana standards, grades and weight classes for shell eggs shall be as defined in the United States Standards that are now or may hereafter be established by the United States Department of Agriculture.

2. B. Louisiana Consumer Grades. The official Louisiana consumer grades for shell eggs are as follows.

   Grade AA
   Grade A
   Grade B

3. C. Louisiana Weight Classes

   Jumbo	Medium
   Extra Large	Small
   Large	Peewee

4. D. These grades are applicable to edible shell eggs in lot quantities rather than on an individual egg basis. A lot may contain any quantity of two or more eggs.
