1. A. This Chapter is adopted pursuant to R.S. 3:4721 et seq., and shall govern the department’s logo program.

2. B. For purposes of this Chapter, the following terms shall have the meaning hereafter ascribed to them, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

   1. Commissioner―the commissioner of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
   2. Department―the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry.
   3. License—written authorization from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry for the non-exclusive use of the logo.
   4. Licensee—applicant who applied to the department for a license to use the logo(s) and whose application was approved.

   5. Logo—the logos adopted by the department pursuant to R.S. 3:4721 to promote products made, grown, manufactured, processed, produced or substantially transformed in the state of Louisiana. The logos include:

      1. a. certified Louisiana;
      2. b. certified Louisiana Cajun;
      3. c. certified Louisiana Creole;
      4. d. certified Louisiana Farm to Table; and
      5. e. certified Louisiana Craft Beverage.
