1. A. When the department has reason to believe that a violation of R.S. 3:921 et seq., or this Chapter has occurred, the department may conduct an investigation to gather information regarding any possible violation.
2. B. The department may initiate an investigation either in response to a complaint or on its own.
3. C. The department or its authorized representative(s) shall have the right to enter any covered produce farm to investigate any alleged or suspected violations of R.S. 3:921 et seq. or the provisions of this Chapter.
4. D. Covered farms have a duty to cooperate with any investigation conducted by the department.
