1. A. For the purposes of R.S. 11:2221, the following definitions shall apply.

   1. True Annuity—a retirement benefit that is payable in equal, unreduced monthly payments during the member’s lifetime, with no further payments to any other person after the member’s death. This may sometimes be referred to as the maximum benefit or maximum plan.
