1. A. The office adopts by reference in their entirety those copyrighted codes or standards enumerated in
   LAC 55:V.103 published by and available from the National Fire Protection Association, Inc. (NFPA), Batterymarch Park, Quincy, Massachusetts, 02268. A copy of the codes and standards shall be kept available for public inspection in the Office of State Fire Marshal. In addition to those listed standards, the following shall also be adhered to as applicable:

   1. 1. ASME/ANSI A17.1—Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators;
   2. 2. ASME/ANSI A17.3—Safety Code for Existing Elevators and Escalators;
   3. 3. ASME/ANSI A117.1—Specifications for Handicapped Accessibility;
   4. 4. ADAAG—American Disability Accessibility Act Guidelines;
   5. 5. United States Department of Transportation;
   6. 6. Code of Federal Regulations 49.
