1. A. In addition to the requirements of the Life Safety Code as set forth in previous regulations, all hospitals, skilled nursing facilities or any other facility utilizing life support systems on a 24-hour day basis shall comply with the following.

   1. 1. Emergency power must be provided in conformity with NFPA Code 99 for a minimum 48 hour duration.
