1. A. Requirements for utility terrain vehicles:

   1. 1. operator must be at least 21 years of age;
   2. 2. operator must possess a valid driver’s license;

   3. 3. any utility terrain vehicle operated upon any roadway or street shall be equipped with minimum motor vehicle equipment appropriate for motor vehicle safety including the following:

      1. a. head lamps;
      2. b. front and rear turn signal lamps;
      3. c. tail lamps;
      4. d. stop lamps;

      5. e. reflex reflectors:

         1. i. one on each side as far to the rear as practicable; and
         2. ii. one red reflector on the rear of the vehicle;
      6. f. exterior mirror mounted on the driver’s side of the vehicle;
      7. g. exterior mirror mounted on the passenger’s side of the vehicle or an interior mirror;
      8. h. parking brake;
      9. i. adequate windshield;
      10. j. windshield wiper;
      11. k. speedometer;
      12. l. odometer;
      13. m. braking for each wheel;
      14. n. seatbelt assembly installed at each designated seating position;
      15. o. vehicle identification number or serial number.
