LAC 55:III.2103 – Prohibition Exceptions to Use of Utility Terrain Vehicles on Public Roads or Streets

A. The use of utility terrain vehicles on public roads or streets are prohibited except as follows:
1. 1. operation of a utility terrain vehicle upon a parish road that has been designated by a parish for use by a utility terrain vehicle with appropriate posted signage indicating that the operation is authorized;
2. 2. operation of a utility terrain vehicle upon a municipal street that has been designated by a municipality for use by a utility terrain vehicle with appropriate posted signage indicating that the operation is authorized;
3. 3. operation at an intersection crossing any divided highway, highway, roadway, or street with a posted speed limit in excess of 35 miles per hour.
